cool ✓, cozy✓ , stylish ✓✓✓
With the bombardment of fall fashion this time of year, I feel like I need to start thinking of warm and cozy interiors, however, it is still in the 90's here in Colorado. The home of Lauren Gold, featured in Lonny July/August 2011, is a stylish balance of cool yet warm and cozy, in other words, pure seasonal transition perfection.
The easiest and best way to achieve warmth is with texture, texture, texture: the rugs above and the pillows below are a fabulous examples of an easy injection of cozy.
The black chairs are ridiculous! L-O-V-E!
In order to "hide" the t.v., Lauren created a vignette so as to incorporate the t.v. as part of a collection. Awseome.
I am absolutely digging what she did with the shelves.
Spot on advice...
I especially appreciate her choice of simple window coverings, functional and not the least bit distracting.

e-Styling (e-Decorating)
I am going to be on the road a lot over the next couple of months helping my family. My PaPa was just diagnosed with leukemia. I will still be working, especially on e-Styling projects, so just a little extra promotion for that area of the biz today...
If you have a
space that is in need of a change and you want a professional stylish eye to
help. Even if you don't live in the Denver Metro area, or even if you do and
free-time is an issue, then e-Styling is perfect for you!
All you have to do is: answer a few questions, to help establish how the space is used, IE. a family room that doubles as a Wii playground or a dining room that is an office by day and a fine dining establishment by night-color, likes and dislikes-styles, likes and dislikes, etc.
Provide detailed measurements and pictures of the space as well as pictures of the furniture and accessories that you want to keep and re-use.
Provide links of interiors you desire to have or send scanned photos from magazines or books.
After I have all the pertinent information, I will then create a floor plan and style board. The style board will feature furnishings, along with flooring, wall and window coverings from the Internet and retail stores in your area. To help customize your space, DIY projects will be suggested and instructions provided. Not sure how to hang art for a salon wall or where to place accessories? No worries, I provide sketches for that too.
Once I have gathered ideas, you will have your vision for your new space within three weeks. You can then purchase new items all at once or buy pieces a week or month at a time, whatever works best with your budget and time.
Pricing starts at $135, with multiple board discounts available. Contact me at:

love it, live it: fashion inspired style board, western contempo glam study
click on image to enjoy a larger view
Being a Colorado native and having spent most of my life on a ranch, not to mention my Grandfather was a sheriff, I undoubtedly have a bit of cowgirl in me. Isabel Marant's fall/winter 2012 collection definitely speaks to my inner-cowgirl, my Pinterest "fashion!!!" board can attest to this.
The desk was the first item I chose for this board, the carving on it reminded me of western tooled leather. Add some leather, a glossy black accent wall, a pop of blue and plenty of pretty...heck, even a city slicker would feel stylish in this study.
