Kinda cool what $20 worth of maple cabinet scraps, $30 at Home Depot and $14 for legs at IKEA will get ya...

The maple slats came from the super awesome Bud's Warehouse, Denver's Home Improvement Thrift Store.  I stained the slats with Minwax Golden Oak then "mended" them together, on the bottom, with mending plates from Home Depot. Attached the $3.50 legs from IKEA and voilà!
