awesomeness share: best trail shoes evah

I'm super busy today, so no "Pantone Low & High", but I just had to share my excitement over my awesome new trail shoes!  We are having the most amazing spring here in Colorado, first time in many years, so C and I hit Castlewood Canyon yesterday.  I wore my new J-41 Tahoe Sport Slip-On.  They are; lightweight, super comfortable, waterproof and a great tread for loose ground, the ultimate trail shoe, love them!

Pantones Cockatoo (blue Cockatoo's are very rare by the way) is a color I can get lost in, it is a dreamy aquatic blue.  When paired with other brights it is tropical and with neutrals it is beachy...yes, there is a difference.

the cocktail hour: plum frost

After imbibing Manhattans over the winter months, and the fact that we are having a warm spring for the first time in yeeears, my taste buds are ready for fun and fresh new cocktails...and the Plum Frost (source: Cotton Row, Huntsville, Alabama) does not disappoint.

Plum Frost
1 ½ oz. plum sake
1 oz. vodka
¼ oz. lime juice
Splash of cranberry

Pour everything into a shaker with ice.  Shake and strain into a chilled glass.

Enjoy!

...magical, elegant and just simply lovely...the petite home of interior designer David Kaihoi and his wife Monique Simard seems anything but small...with serious attention to detail; the color palette, built in storage, salvaged materials and numerous special touches (hello, the papered walls in the bedroom, exquisite), make this a home like no other, well like no other 390 sq. foot home that is.

bellflower home goodies, low & high

Pantone does this to me every year, they throw a purple into the seasonal color report, I am not a purple person...at all.  I always struggle with this color, and Bellflower is no exception.  It is a nice violet color...if you like purple.
