With the bombardment of fall fashion this time of year, I feel like I need to start thinking of warm and cozy interiors, however, it is still in the 90's here in Colorado. The home of Lauren Gold, featured in Lonny July/August 2011, is a stylish balance of cool yet warm and cozy, in other words, pure seasonal transition perfection.
The easiest and best way to achieve warmth is with texture, texture, texture: the rugs above and the pillows below are a fabulous examples of an easy injection of cozy.
The black chairs are ridiculous! L-O-V-E!
In order to "hide" the t.v., Lauren created a vignette so as to incorporate the t.v. as part of a collection. Awseome.
I am absolutely digging what she did with the shelves.
Spot on advice...
I especially appreciate her choice of simple window coverings, functional and not the least bit distracting.
