just because: what a difference a week makes

Last Thursday it was 90°+ and on Sunday I actually wore layers and a knit hat for our hike and my nose is still recovering from windburn... photo, L'Enfant terrible

and as much as I am a Summer girl through and through, I have to admit that I am rather excited for the change in wardrobe! I do not generally even think about my Fall clothes until September 21, but I have already begun to pull a few pieces to the front of the closet;

My flip flops may pout a bit, but I think I can handle the transition just fine ;)
