Have a great weekend!

The living room has a seductive color palette; crisp white walls, surrounded by smokey goodness, and the pop of gold, exquisite.
the first prospect will be the AG Stevie from Anthropologie. They are a boyfriend style with a cuff, so a little on the casual side without being a full fledged capri. Me likey!
I guarantee mine will not be this fancy, but they will for sure have Robins Egg Blue Frosting!
the foyer sets the tone for an oh so lovely home. An unexpected location for a settee? Somehow, not so much. And the floor? Fabulous!

Definitely a room for ladies high tea. The colors are fresh and warm with a mix of traditional and international, not to mention a little country. And the country continues into the kitchen. Some serious food to be created, enjoyed in this glorious kitchen. I truly dig the table right smack dab in the middle of it all.
and the bar will be the recipient of this creative itch. The bar is Mom's vanity, her high school graduation present. The top is glass with a piece of plexi underneath, so I can easily sandwich objects between the two surfaces. Currently there are a few silk flowers, but I believe a change is needed.
I found the papers above at Walnut Wallpaper. While fabulous wallpaper is not inexpensive, samples are. The six papers above are my choice for the bar project, six out of many, many, many fantastic patterns. I foresee a few other projects stemming from wallpaper samples; framed as art, a collage within bookcase shelves, matting, etc.
Any other creative, crafty ideas?
I am hoping to grill some fish this weekend for tacos. And nothing goes better with fish tacos (well lots of things go with fish tacos, but let's just stick with today's cocktail) than a Margarita Spritzer. This recipe hails back from Gourmet, May 1985! I didn't find it until 1999 on Epicurious.com, but thankfully I printed it off and saved it since it is no longer available.
Margarita Spritzer
I make mine in a 16 oz. or larger glass filled with ice. Add ingredients and stir with a swizzle stick.
Enjoy!

after a two year, 70 million dollar renovation, I can't wait to book a stay at this amazingly gorgeous resort.
and believe me, they are tasty and oh so easy! The recipe is from Self Magazine, so the cakes are low in fat and calories, not to mention good for you too. The Cakes are served with greens, so the buttermilk included in the sauce is for the dressing. I had a different salad with mine, so I omitted the buttermilk and made more of a tartar sauce, sooooo good!
where everything is better, even in the rain.
sleek, mod side table, glam suede daybed, elegant silk drapes and gilded frames. Throw in a sisal rug and place a beautiful piece of art on the floor; the space also has a casual feel.
