interiors: kelly hoppen's well balanced townhouse, metropolitan home dec. 2009

The London townhouse of designer Kelly Hoppen is fantastic, a mix of contempo glam with a touch of clean simplicity.

The living room has a seductive color palette; crisp white walls, surrounded by smokey goodness, and the pop of gold, exquisite.

The dining room is obviously a reflection of Kelly herself, accessorized with personal treasures. Again the crisp white walls are not so crisp when accompanied by a gorgeous and warm oak table. More touches of contempo glam goodness shown with the drum pendants and dining chairs.

The cook top/bar, Hollywood cool.

While the bath is quite minimal and mod, the shutters lend a slight tropical flair.

The master bedroom is so relaxing and peaceful, a lovely retreat to rest the mind and soothe the soul.

  5. This is one of my favorite projects! We are so alike! Actually I got some citron/mustard pillows (whatever that color is called in the first pic?) for my charcoal gray couch.

Oh and the white/chrome bar stools - I just saw one like it on eBay for a steal. It needed to be reupholstered but now I think I should have gotten it!
